Draymond Green: Harrison Barnes doesn't like me to this day over Kevin Durant signing
© Provided by HoopsHype The beef between Ray Allen and the Boston Celtics is apparently not the only time a championship-winning team had a falling out between its key players. Although it isn’t nearly on the same level of pettiness as the Celtics’ grudge, the Golden State Warriors 2015 team is fractured. Draymond Green said on his podcast that Harrison Barnes supposedly keeps his distance from him because he played a big role in convincing Kevin Durant to join the Warriors in the 2016 offseason. He added that Barnes doesn’t do the same for Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson and addressed what the situation was like.

Goran Dragic said he picked the #Nets from among a group of six contenders to play with the new Big 3 and for his mentor Steve Nash. Adds KD, Ben Simmons and others texted him in the recruitment process. Sounds different than Zion in NOLA. #nba – 2:54 PM Alex Schiffer @Alex__Schiffer

Goran Dragic says picking the Nets was tough, but his relationship with Steve Nash led him to the Nets. He also talked to Kevin Durant. Ben Simmons texted him and he heard from Andre Drummond, too. They share a workout coach in Miami. – 2:52 PM Kristian Winfield @Krisplashed

Steve Nash on when Ben Simmons or Kevin Durant will rejoin the Nets roster: “No clarity on Kevin or Ben, but they’re both working their way back. I think Kevin’s probably closer to coming back and is progressing nicely.” – 2:42 PM Nick Friedell @NickFriedell

“We’ve gotten see how they respond, to [practice] days like today… It’s probably gonna he tough to be honest to be playing in the next 3 or 4 days, but we’ll see how it all plays out.”

Sean Marks on seeing KD & Simmons on the floor together: “It’s probably going to be tough playing in the next three or four days,” but adds “I’m not going to bet against it.” #Nets – 6:17 PM Dave Early @DavidEarly

Sean Marks says Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons look good in their individual workouts. Says it would be tough to project them back in the next 3 or 4 days but he likes their trajectory. Adds he’s optimistic Kyrie Irving would be eligible for home games in the future too. – 6:16 PM Alex Schiffer @Alex__Schiffer

Sean Marks seems to indicate that he doesn’t expect Kevin Durant or Ben Simmons to play “in the next three to four days.” Would put them both out through the Milwaukee game, but Marks adds they’ll see how their bodies respond after practice the next two days. – 6:15 PM Kristian Winfield @Krisplashed

Sean Marks says “it’s probably gonna be tough” for Kevin Durant or Ben Simmons to play “in the next 3 or 4 days,” which makes them unlikely for Thursday against the Celtics or Saturday in Milwaukee against the Bucks. – 6:15 PM Duane Rankin @DuaneRankin

“He always had the numbers. And now the winning is following that. If Book’s not an All-NBA player, then who is?”

#Suns 3X #NBAAllStar Devin Booker has never made All-NBA.

More on this storyline

“Harrison Barnes, I think to this day don’t like me for KD coming here. And the reality is, I did’t tell [Warriors GM Bob Myers] to trade you to bring KD in…He took it very personally because of that story that came out that I cried to KD in the car. He took it very personally at me. This dude invite [sic] Steph, Klay, everybody to his wedding except me…I didn’t take it personally ’cause it is what it is…It sucks that you got traded by you went and made your money.” -via Clutch Points / February 23, 2022
