Manchester United can see their Champions League journey come to an end in the group stage on Wednesday evening should they fail to get the right result in Turkey against Galatasaray.
The Premier League side come into this one after an impressive 3-0 win away at Everton, but a defeat in Istanbul would eliminate them from Europe’s top club competition with another group game still to play.
Erik ten Hag’s side sit at the bottom of Group A with just three points from their first four games. With plenty of injuries still plaguing the team, it will take a couple of big performances to progress from this point.
A draw would keep their hopes alive as long as Copenhagen do not beat Bayern Munich, but Man Utd have to play on the basis that three points are a necessity.

Okan Buruk has a predominantly clean bill of health with his Galatasaray team right now which he will be very pleased with given the magnitude of the game. On four points, they are in third place and want to keep Man Utd at bay while also moving ahead of Copenhagen.
He may be without Davinson Sanchez and Abdulkerim Bardakci after issues picked up at the weekend, while Halil Dervisoglu and Eyup Aydin are not eligible to play in the Champions League.

Man Utd have plenty of injury concerns to deal with, the latest of which seems to be Antony.
The Brazilian was absent from the game against Everton with a knock and it is not clear if he will be back in time for this match. He would join Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo, Jonny Evans and Christian Eriksen on the sidelines.
Rasmus Hojlund was also absent at the weekend but there is a chance he features against Galatasaray, while the injury situation concerning Mason Mount – who was also not in the squad for the 3-0 win – won’t be clear until Ten Hag gives a further update ahead of the game.

Galatasaray vs Manchester United score prediction
A run of five wins in six Premier League games has helped Man Utd emerge as the form team in the division, even if the mood around the club is somewhat damp. That being said, the Red Devils are in a better place confidence-wise than they were when they lost to Galatasaray at Old Trafford the last time they met.
The win over Everton will stand them in good stead here and as long as Ten Hag’s side can keep their heads, they should get the three points they desperately need.
Prediction: Galatasaray 1-2 Manchester United
