Black Friday Fitbit deals 2021: it makes Sense to take Charge and try your Luxe in the sales

Asia's Tech News Daily

As 2021 has been the year of sports, with the Olympics and Euros all pushed back from last year, it’s very possible you’ve been inspired to get active, and a Black Friday Fitbit deal would help (partially) with that.

Black Friday 2021, happening on November 26, will probably bring great discounts to all the different products Fitbit makes, from its trackers like the Ace and Luxe to smartwatches like the Charge or Versa.

In the countries that take it really seriously, Cyber Monday deals on November 29 could bring some great ones too. We don’t really see Fitbit keep deals up its sleeves like that, but other shops that sell the company’s wearables might.

We often see pretty fair Black Friday Fitbit deals, so if you don’t need a new wearable urgently, it could be well worth waiting until the prices drop in the sales season around Black Friday. In fact, discounts on Fitbit trackers through the rest of the year can be pretty sparse, so Black Friday might be the next time we actually see decent savings.

When will the best Fitbit Black Friday deals start in 2021?

We sometimes see Fitbit wearables offered in the pre-Black Friday sales, likely starting around November 20 depending on the retailer. However the real best deals will likely occur over the weekend in question, from November 26 to 29.

Fitbits aren’t like iPads, and the sales generally don’t come and go throughout that time. Typically. the discounts are applied at the beginning of the sales and remain consistent for the entirety of the weekend.

Saying that, some retailers may choose to jettison any remaining stock of older Fitbits – perhaps the Versa 2 or Charge 4 – which could see huge, but temporary, discounts on models which aren’t the newest of their line.

Should I wait for the Black Friday Fitbit deals?

Ahead of Black Friday, you might have trouble deciding whether you should wait until the sales or just buy a new tracker to use immediately.

That’s a tough question, made tougher by the fact that while Fitbit deals can be good, they’re often not great – not worth waiting months for, at least.

If you want a Fitbit to start tracking your workouts, then you may as well buy one now – there’s no use skipping exercising for several months while you wait. But if you were hoping to buy a wearable as a present for someone, particularly for Christmas, it’s well worth waiting.

What Black Friday Fitbit deals do we expect to see?

Usually, Fitbit runs a blanket discount on its online store over Black Friday, so we could see modest reductions across the brand’s broad range. But the more interesting discounts could be from particular retailers.

We often see Fitbit deals on the brand’s smartwatches, which for Black Friday 2021 could include the Fitbit Versa 3 and Fitbit Sense. We don’t always see fitness tracker reductions, but with the Fitbit Luxe that could change, as it’s a new premium entry from the brand in that category.

Some older models could get discounted too, like the Versa 2, Charge 3 or 4 and Ace models, but these could be attempts by retailers to get rid of out-of-date stock, so the price cuts could be volatile or sell out quickly.

Where are the best places to find Fitbit Black Friday deals?

As we’ve said, Fitbit’s website will play host to some good deals, and that could be a useful place to start when you’re looking for deals. Other retailers will definitely join in, particularly Best Buy in the US and John Lewis in the UK, so shop around too.

You may find some luck checking physical shops too, as Fitbits are popular enough to get sold in brick-and-mortar stores. Of course, heading to in-person Black Friday events brings its own risks, not least of all the possibility of the device selling out, but you might find deals that aren’t available online.
