Nag Ashwin's sci-fi film 'Kalki 2898 AD' starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan is one highly anticipated film of 2024.
As the film gears up for its release on June 27, 2024, it has been granted special shows. In the early hours of June 23, renowned PR shared on his social media platform X a picture of a signed document from the honorable Telangana Government.
As per the document, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's sci-fi flick will start at 5:30 a.m. The price structure in the regular theaters has been increased by approximately Rs. 70, while in the multiplex, the ticket prices have been hiked up to Rs. 100.
Meanwhile, the film is generating significant excitement in North America, with the latest trailer boosting advance ticket sales. Reportedly, the film has already surpassed $2.2 million in premiere day sales, primarily from the American market.
With an exceptional background score, top-tier VFX, and stunning visuals, the film is poised to become one of Indian cinema's most ambitious projects. The trailer is available in various languages, such as Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.
In the film, Prabhas stars as Bhairava, a bounty hunter, while Keerthy Suresh provides the voice for Bujji (stylized as BU-JZ-1), his AI droid sidekick. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Aswatthama, who is tasked with protecting the Kalki avatar. Deepika Padukone plays Sumati (stylized as SUM-80), a pregnant woman on the run. Kamal Haasan takes on the role of the film's antagonist, the Supreme Yaskin.
