RCB poked fun at England fast bowler Jofra Archer after India made their way through to the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. On Thursday, June 27, India beat the Three Lions by 68 runs in the semi-final at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. With the win, India also qualified for their third final in the history of the mega event after the ones in 2007 and 2014. When the Men in Blue were closing in on victory, RCB took it as a chance to troll Archer.

The IPL team dug out an old tweet from the English speedster from March 2013 that read, "Run Out". England suffered 2 run outs of Liam Livingstone and Adil Rashid in the semis. Referring to the same, RCB replied to Archer and wrote, "Run Outs".

Archer had a decent day with the ball after he got the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav to finish with figures of 4-0-33-1. Thereafter, he scored 21 off 15 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes, but his effort went in vain. Chasing 172, England were bowled out for 103 in 16.4 overs.

After the game, Rohit said that the victory over England was 'satisfying'. The Indian skipper said that his team has adapted well to the playing conditions in the West Indies and the USA.
"Very satisfying to win. Worked very hard as a unit and it was a great effort from all. We adapted really well, conditions were challenging. That's been the success story for us so far. If bowlers and batters adapt, things fall in place," Rohit said in the post-match presentation ceremony.
India's final against South Africa is on Saturday, June 29 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. Both teams are unbeaten until now in the tournament.
