Pleasant weather Thursday, unstable conditions forecast for weekend
Amman, Mar. 23 (Petra) — Temperatures on Thursday are forecast to remain around the seasonal average, with fair spring-like weather prevailing across the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
At medium and low altitudes, clouds will actively form, and winds will be blown moderately from the southwest to the southeast.
Despite a modest increase in mercury levels, similar weather will persist on Friday with cloudy skies and light easterly winds.
On Saturday, the country will be affected by unstable weather conditions, bringing sporadic showers in different regions that will intensify in the afternoon, mainly in the southern and eastern parts, accompanied by thunder and hail at times.
Today, temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 19 degrees Celsius and a low of 10C at night, while the port city of Aqaba will see a fair 28C, sliding to 18C at night.
