Hina Khan breast cancer: Actor reveals she’s diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, says ‘fully committed to overcoming disease’
Hina Khan, best known for playing Akshara in television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. The actor took to her social media to share her diagnosis with her fans. The 36-year-old actor shared a note requesting for privacy and shared with her fans that she has already started her treatment.
Her note read, "To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the inaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger."
She further wrote, "I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences. anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the Almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and be completely healthy. Please send your prayers. blessings, and love." Even as her friends from the industry such as Rohan Mehra and Ankita Lokhande shared comments on the post, sending her strength and recovery. She later disabled the comment section on her Instagram post.
Hina recently made her debut in Punjabi films with Shinda Shinda No Papa, which alsos tarred Gippy Grewal. She was also seen on the Amazon miniTV show Namacool.
