Vraj Iron and Steel Ltd IPO allotment is likely to be finalised on Monday, July 1, following an overwhelming response from investors during the three-day subscription period, which ended on June 28. The initial public offer, a book-building issue worth ₹171 crore, opened for bidding on June 26.

Once Vraj Iron and Steel Ltd, a manufacturer of sponge iron and TMT bars, finalises the basis of allotment of IPO, shares will be listed on both BSE and NSE. Vraj Iron and Steel IPO was subscribed over 126 times, with bids coming in for 73 crore shares against about 58 lakh shares on offer.

The portion reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was bought 222 times while the qualified institutional buyers booked their category 174 times. The retail portion of the IPO was booked 58 times.

The public offer of Vraj Iron and Steel Ltd was entirely a fresh issue of 83 lakh shares. Of this, 24.8 shares, or 30% of the total issue size, were allocated to anchor investors, from whom the company raised ₹51.3 crore.

Vraj Iron and Steel IPO price band was set at ₹195 to ₹207 per share with a minimum lot size for an application at 72 Shares. To buy one lot of shares, the minimum amount of investment for retail investors was ₹14,904.

After the allotment of Vraj Iron and Steel IPO, the company will credit shares to the Demat accounts of successful applicants on July 2, and start refunds to non-allottees the same day.

Vraj Iron and Steel IPO shares will be listed on the BSE and the NSE, with a tentative listing date fixed as July 3.
