Kashmiri man's conversation with Bihari migrant worker wins internet. Watch
The internet cannot get enough of a video featuring a Kashmiri man engaging in a hearty conversation with a Bihari migrant worker. The 58-second clip was posted by X user Vijay Sheth with the caption: "This is naya Kashmir".
"Dekho Bihar se yeh log aate hain, yahaan sab kaam khatam kiya hai inn logon ne (See, these people come from Bihar, and we aren't left with any jobs here)," the Kashmiri local, who stopped his car to speak to the Bihari migrant worker, said.
"Why are you making a video," he asked, to which the Kashmiri man replied, saying that people from Bihar have taken up all the jobs in Kashmir, starting from that of barbers to carpenters. He was more than happy after the Kashmiri local told him that he would post the video online.
"Sab kaam karenge hum (We will learn everything)," the migrant worker said with a big smile.
"Wazwan ka kaam kab shuru karoge (Will you prepare Wazwan as well)," the Kashmiri local asked. Wazwan is a multi-course meal in Kashmiri cuisine.
The migrant worker, though, said that he wasn't interested in this particular "profile".
"Woh aap banaiyye. Woh hume nahi chahiye. Hume kaam karna hai, roti chahiye bas (You can do that. We don't want to do this. We just want to work so that we get food)," he said.
