We had earlier reported that Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu was turning producer with a new comedy film titled ED-Extra Decent, and along with the title announcement was a First Look Poster that was released, featuring Suraj in a completely new avatar.

Now, on the occasion of the actor's birthday on June 30, the makers of the film have released a new poster of the film.

A Special Birthday Gift

The new poster was unveiled by Listin Stephen, who will be co-producing the film. Sharing the poster on his social media, Listin wrote, "Honoring the exceptional Suraj Venjaramood on his birthday! His versatility shines in 'ED - Extra Decent. Presenting the birthday special poster—get ready to be amazed! (sic)"

A Joint Production Venture

ED- Extra Decent is directed by Aamir Pallikkal, who has previously helmed the Manju Warrier-starrer Ayisha (2023). The film is written by Ashif Kakkodi, who has previously written the films Ayisha and Momo In Dubai (2023).The project officially commenced on May 26 with an official Clap On ceremony and pooja, which was attended by the cast and crew of the film. The ceremony took place at the famous Sri Mookambika Temple, Kollor, according to the director's social media post where he made the announcement regarding the film.

ED-Extra Decent is jointly being produced by Suraj's new production banner Vilasini Cinemas and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames.

An Impressive Cast Line-up

The upcoming film also stars Grace Antony, Shyam Mohan of Premalu-fame, Dilina Ramakrishnan, Sajin Cherukayil, Vinaya Prasad, Sudheer Karamana, Prashanth Alexander, Vineeth Thattil David, and Shaju Sreedhar in prominent roles. It has cinematography by Sharon Sreenivas, editing by Sreejith Sarang and music by Ankit Menon.
