Ukrainian soldiers destroy Russian Su-25 aircraft with portable air defense

The National Guard of Ukraine reports on the destruction of the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region.

"The Ukrainian guardsmen discovered a Russian Su-25, which was conducting a combat mission," the report says.

Thus, the combined crew of the Igla man-portable air defense system of the 31st Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine acted promptly and professionally.

"The Russian Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down with an accurate shot," the Ukrainian military says.
