Speaker banakar ethana bhoja par nahid Allah chaiye mahmoobarak baat jeta AAP ko mahmoobarak baat jeta Hoon Ki AAP choti patio pari avan opposition or choti party on kabi hai hamka bhavas ka mokha jenge. Is house ka character Badal Chuka hai Sir, is house ka character Badal Chuka hai of BJP steamrolled lahi kar paigi hum aapse Mubarak badete shukriya Sir Sri NK Prem chandan. Thank you very much, Speaker Sir, Sir, I on behalf of my party, Revolutionary Socialist Party, RSP extend hearty congratulations in assuming. All right, so those those are the live visuals coming in and you just heard our Sadhodhan Owaisi as well. Remember his remarks and anything that he's saying is being closely watched ever since he sparked the massive controversy over Jai Palestine during Lok Sabha oath taking and ever since. Remember, he's come out with several clarifications and he says he stands by his remarks that he doesn't feel the need to apologize to please anybody. But remember, this is a big development that's taken place today with the election of Om Birla as the Lok Sabha Speaker. And now we see several members of Parliament in a sense congratulating him. Indi, the Congress LED opposition, remember, forced a contest for the post of the Lok Sabha Speaker. But we did see the verdict in the favor of Om Birla because the NDA comfortably placed as far as the number game is concerned. And we also saw those visuals come in shortly after wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with Leader of Opposition, as has been announced by the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi along with the Parliamentary Affairs Minister could be seen walking Om Bila to his chair. But this is a quick reaction that's come in from Asaduddin Owaisi who's congratulated Om Bila for his election to the Speakers post for being reelected as the Lok Sabha Speaker. So proceedings continue. Most of the messages coming in from the members of Parliament who've taken oath already the last two days. That's what's been going on. They are now congratulating the reelection of Ombilla. Let me go across to Payal, my colleague joining us with more details. Payal, what a morning it has been really and very powerful visuals that we've picked up from the Lok Sabha with Rahul Gandhi, the Prime Minister, you know, working together, escorting in a sense, the Lok Sabha speaker, the newly elected Lok Sabha speaker to his chair. But what do we make of this quick reaction that's coming from Asaduddin Owaisi? All eyes have been on the AIMIMP ever since he made that controversial remark yesterday. Well, of course, to begin with that Rahul Gandhi has made a display at the very beginning that he's in here for a long haul and he's in here to occupy the chair as far as the leader of the Opposition is concerned because he or she has a very, very important role to really play. So the optics were extremely good. Rahul Gandhi not only went and greeted Om Birla but also took hands with the Prime Minister and the two of them escorted Mr. Birla to the chair. Having said that, Mister Owaisi in a quick manner was allowed to just make his point because the single member MP from MIM and he just made this very important point saying that you know, unlike 2014 and 2019, the character of the Lok Sabha is entirely different given the fact that the opposition is much more larger in number and is much more empowered as well. So obviously since the last five years we do not have a Deputy Speaker. So the reasons best known this time around, the opposition parties would like to see a Deputy Speaker in place. So, of course, he is also hold upon the Speaker to ensure that there is a Deputy Speaker in place and also addressing Once Upon a once again that, you know, smaller parties like his should be given a chance to speak and the opposition must have its say as well. In fact, you know, the Constitution narrative was repeated by Rahul Gandhi when he urged to the Lok Sabha Speaker while congratulating him. By letting us allow to speak, you're going to help us defend the Constitution.
