Triumph clarifies: No price drop on Street Triple 765 R, RS. Glitch on website corrected now

Triumph Motorcycles today said that there has been no change in the prices of the Triumph Street Triple 765 R and the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. The premium motorcycle manufacturer was addressing recent reports regarding price drop for the two models.

According to the company, the reported price drop was due to a glitch on Triumph's official website. "This technical issue has since been corrected. Triumph apologises for any confusion caused by the glitch," the company said in an official statement.

Triumph said that the Street Triple 765 R and the Street Triple 765 RS have experienced strong demand in the Indian market since their launch last year. "The motorcycles have captivated Indian customers and the biking community with their unparalleled performance and exceptional ride quality. Their cutting-edge engineering and sleek design make them the top choice for motorcycle enthusiasts across the country," it added.

While the Triumph Street Triple 765 R is priced at Rs 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom), the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is available for Rs 11.81 lakh (ex-showroom).

Both motorcycles employ a 765cc, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, inline 3-cylinder petrol engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. However, the engine has been tuned differently for both models, developing 120PS and 80Nm for the Street Triple 765 R, and 130PS and 80Nm for the Street Triple 765 RS.
