Brian Barczyk, 54, uploaded an emotional 16-minute-long video for his loyal followers after revealing he will be entering hospice care after his inoperable pancreatic cancer worsens.
The reptile enthusiast received the devastating stage four pancreatic cancer diagnosis almost a year ago.
He opens the sad video by welcoming his fans back to the vlog for the last time – after doing it over 2,000 times throughout his stint as a reptile influencer.
‘It’s been an amazing journey and one that has changed my life,’ he said in the emotional video.

He shared that he loves his ‘reptile army’ so much.
Barczyk shared that he’s hopeful that his ‘reptarium’ and the LegaSea aquarium in Michigan will maintain his legacy after he dies.
His team will continue to upload reptile-related content for his followers when Barczyk passes away, he says.
The 16-minute-montage, titled ‘This is Goodbye’ features short clips of highlights from his career – showing him doing what he loves, connecting with reptiles.
‘This last year has been difficult with my cancer, with the ups and downs of treatment,’ he said. ‘We really thought we could beat this.’
Barczyk shared the health update with his followers last week, informing them that he would be doing into hospice – but insisting they shouldn’t worry because he ‘had Jesus’ and was going to ‘spend eternity in heaven.’
‘I’m going to be able to look down on the legacy, I’m going to be able to look down on my family, and everyone who I love. I’m the lucky one,’ he told fans.
‘I’m ready, guys. It was a tough year,’ he said through tears. ‘It was so painful, the pain was incredible, the sickness was incredible, the treatment was incredible, everything about it was so bad.’

‘Thank you so much for everything you have done. My dad had snakes before I was born. I grew up loving reptiles and just recently lost my bearded dragon at 13 years old. You are a legend,’ one user commented.

I really loved watching you and all your videos and this brings my heart to such a pain that I can’t even explain, I guess I’ll see you on the other side brother,’ a young fan said in a heartfelt comment.
