Bridgerton fans spot awkward mistake in key 'Polin' scene they can't unsee
Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton sparked a romance in the latest series
Since the third series of Bridgerton dropped on Netflix, the whole world has been talking about it.
From the thrill of seeing our favourite characters back in action to getting stuck into some saucy love scenes - the period drama has got everyone talking again. But sharp-eyed fans have clocked a problem since the last episodes hit screens.
A TikTok video has gone viral after a fan noticed what looks like a slight filming faux pas. It's all about "Polin" - aka Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington - following a disagreement.
It seems there's been a bit of a mishap with a prop - specifically, a hair clip. In the video, A K Mulford points out that Penelope chucks her hair clip away when she's "angry".
She then storms off from her beau, Colin, leaving the clip behind. Penelope is later seen legging it home without the fancy hairpiece, but this is where it gets puzzling.
Despite having binned it off before giving Colin the cold shoulder, Penelope rocks up in the next scene with the posh hair clip back in perfection position. She's spotted scribbling away at her desk, sporting the black feather clip in her locks.
In the TikTok clip, A K Mulford is seen cracking up, simply asking: "What happened?", and it's got everyone scratching their heads. She added: "Colin would return it to her, but it's just there."
Ever since the clip surfaced on the internet, it has garnered thousands of views, and left the audience puzzled. The odd mistake sparked laughter as it proved impossible to ignore.
The blunder is certainly one of those moments that, once spotted, it continues to baffle spectators. One commenter admitted: "Yes. When your attention to detail just won't let you enjoy the show."
Another responded by saying: "I totally wanted Colin to pick it up and hold onto it. Pine over it a little." A third fan couldnt resist airing their frustration, adding: "This type of thing drives me nuts."
One user defended the show and highlighted the problems that can spring up during the filming process. She said: "I think at this point we know they are shot different days, and these things are missed."
