‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ box office collections day 34: Prithviraj starrer collects more than Rs 47 crore
Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran's latest comedy-drama, ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,’ continues its impressive box office run, collecting more than Rs 47 crore in 34 days.
Directed by Vipin Das and written by Deepu Pradeep, the film received good reviews from the audiences especially for the climax sequences.
According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ has earned a total of Rs 47.47 crore domestically over 34 days, with Rs 3 lakhs collected on the 34th day alone. The film's all-India gross stands at Rs 54.86 crore, while its overseas collections have reached Rs 34 crore.
The narrative of ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ centers on Vinu Ramachandran, a young Dubai resident who becomes engaged to Anjali. He forms a strong bond with Anjali's brother, Anandan, as they navigate past relationships and unresolved issues, especially those involving the mysterious Parvathy.
The film features a stellar cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, Nikhila Vimal, and Anaswara Rajan in pivotal roles. Notably, the movie marks the Malayalam debut of popular Tamil comedian Yogi Babu. ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ hit the theatres on May 16, 2024.
On the other hand, Prithviraj's previous film was the survival drama movie 'Aadujeevitham' which received good reviews from the audiences and turned out to be a blockbuster.
