The makers of actor-music director Vijay Antony's upcoming Tamil film Hitler took to their social media to announce that the film is scheduled to hit the big screens in August. Although no official release date has been announced, an official trailer and a release announcement are expected from the side of the makers soon. The film is written and directed by Dhana and also stars Gautham Vasudev Menon in the lead role.

The makers had previously unveiled a teaser for Hitler, which shows the injustice that is meted out to the common folk in the country because of selfish political machinations. In a press note, the makers of the film had described the film as " an ordinary man's revolt and the battle to bring an end to the dictatorship."

Vijay Antony’s character seems to be a vigilante who takes justice into his own hands while Gautham Menon plays a cop who has the responsibility of bringing this vigilante out into the open.

Hitler features actor Riya Suman as the female lead while also featuring an ensemble cast including actors Charanraj, Redin Kingsley, Vivek Prasanna, Aadukalam Naren, and director Tamizh, among others.

The film's technical crew comprises music composer duo Vivek-Mervin, cinematographer Naveen Kumar, and editor Sangathamizhan E.
