Tata group stocks: Two Tata Group companies are going to trade ex-date next week following the announcement of final dividend for FY24. Earlier, the board of directors of these two Tata companies recommended final dividend of Rs 16.70 and Rs 2 per equity share. So, which Tata companies are these? Let's find out.
These two Tata Group companies are Tata Communications Limited and Tata Power Co. Ltd. Both the stocks are going to trade ex-dateon July 1.
Tata Communications dividend 2024
Tata Communications declared a dividend of Rs 16.70 per share in its fourth quarter earnings report for the financial year ended March 31, 2024.

“We would like to inform that the Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹16.70 per share (face value of ₹10 each) for the financial year ended March 31, 2024. This dividend, upon approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM), shall be paid to eligible shareholders after its conclusion,” the company said in an exchange filling.

Shares of Tata Communications have gained 17.00% in the last one year and has grown by over 99.98 per cent in the last two years. Although it has dipped by over 7 per cent in the last three months, the Tata stock has gained 2.99 per cent in the last one month.

Tata Communications dividend history
Tata Communication has a rich dividend history. Within this the company paid the highest dividend in the year 2002, when it paid a final dividend of Rs 75 per equity share. However, after that the company drastically cut its dividend to the range of Rs 4.50 - Rs 5.5 per equity share.
Meanwhile, in 2021, Tata Communication increased its dividend to Rs 14 per equity share and stretched the amount further to Rs 21 per equity share in 2023.

Tata Power dividend 2024
“The Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹ 2.00 per Equity Share of ₹ 1 each (@ 200%) to the Members for the financial year ended March 31, 2024,” the company said in an exchange filing.

Tata Power dividend record date
“The record date fixed for determining the eligibility of Members for payment of dividend is Thursday, July 4, 2024. The final dividend would be paid to the eligible Shareholders on or after July 18, 2024, if approved,” the company said in an exchange filing.
Tata Power dividend history
Tata Power has been consistently paying dividends to its investors for the last one decade. The company paid a final dividend of Rs 2, Rs 1.75, Rs 1.55, Rs 1.55 per equity share in 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 respectively.
