Maruti Suzuki introduced the Fronx Velocity Edition as a limited edition version of the crossover, however, recently, the carmaker announced that the Velocity Edition will be available across the variant lineup, which includes the naturally aspirated models and the turbo petrol models. With prices starting at Rs 7.29 lakh ex-showroom, here’s everything you need to know about the Fronx Velocity Edition.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition — What’s different?
Compared to the standard version of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the Velocity Edition gets a black and red theme on the bumper, grille, wheel arches, and headlight. When you go up the variant list, there are other bits such as illuminated door sills, red mirror covers, extra bodywork for the side and rear, a spoiler, and black seats with a carbon finish for the interior.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition is available in 14 variants, which include the standard and turbo petrol options. The Fronx Velocity Edition retains most of the features offered in the standard version of the Fronx, such as the 9-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, head-up display, 360-degree camera, and more.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Velocity Edition — Engine specifications
Maruti Suzuki has not done anything to the engine on the Fronx Velocity Edition, and it retains the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, and the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 99bhp and 148Nm of torque. There is also a CNG version on offer.
In terms of gearbox options, the naturally aspirated 1.2-litre engine gets a 5-speed manual or an AMT, while the more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.
