Sarah Wanjiru caught the attention of a renowned pastor ordained to a bishop's office.

Wanjiru, who wrote and recited a heartwarming poem about Ben Kiengei and his church, was asked to greet the congregation and recite the poem she wrote days ago.

The poem, written in Kikuyu language, moved the congregants who had gathered for a Sunday service.

Wanjiru was accompanied by her mother, Ann, who could not help but cry as her daughter showed off her talent.

After finishing the poem, the beautiful Wanjiru, a Grade 6 pupil, gave the man of God an envelope with a cash gift.

"I promise to educate you until you finish primary and join high school, and after that, this ministry will be waiting to pay for your university," Kiengei disclosed as the congregation applauded him.

The young girl and her mother were financially blessed by the kind-hearted congregants who supported them.

Wanjiru's mum revealed she had a salon, which was her primary source of income to feed her family.

A few believers offered to buy her salon items, get her a new place for her business, and support it.
