‘India is too expensive’: Internet reacts to viral video of engineer talking about 4BHK Noida flats worth Rs 15 crore
A video of a Delhi-NCR-based engineer talking about flats worth Rs 15 crore and Rs 25 crore in an under-construction apartment in Noida has got the Internet talking. Kashish Chhibber aka Witty Engineer, in an Instagram reel, reacted to expensive apartments in Noida Sector 124.
In the video, Chhibber shows the under-construction ATS Knightsbridge apartments and asks his viewers to guess the price of the flats. “Arey doston! Aaj ek society dekhne aaya tha. ATS Knightsbridge! 4BHK dekha iska. Socho kitne ka hoga? Rs 15 crore aur 6 BHK Rs 25 crore. Aur sochne pe majbur hogya aakhir yeh 4bhk kaun log kharid rahein honge is society mein! Aakhir wo kya kaam karte honge jeevan mein? (Friends! I had come to see flats in ATS Knightsbridge. Guess the price of the flats? Rs 15 crore for 4BHK and Rs 25 crore for 6BHK. I’m still wondering who buys these expensive flats. What do they do for a living?),” he says in the video.
“Aur yeh bhi laga yaar! Kitni bhi job switch karo lo, kitni bhi trading kar lo, kitni bhi investment kar lo, kya kabhi ek 4BHK flat kharid paaunga is society mein apni puri zindagi mein (I was just thinking no amount of job switches or trading or investments can help me buy a 4BHK flat in this society in my life),” the engineer says.

With over four million views, the video triggered a chatter on the cost of living in India.
Reacting to it, a user commented, “These high cost flats are solely built for the people who want to change their black money to white.” Another user wrote, “4bhk Flat in Noida for 15 crore and that is still under construction. That’s equivalent to 1.7 Million USD. India is too expensive to live for me.”
