Josh Hart's Four-Word Reply To Knicks' Mikal Bridges Trade
New York Knicks star Josh Hart recently reacted to the team's blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, sending Mikal Bridges to Manhattan.
The Knicks have now reunited the 2016 Villanova Wildcats, pairing Bridges with Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, and Hart. New York is now in prime position to compete for an NBA title after suffering a second-round loss to the Indiana Pacers in 2024 as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.
New York sent five first-round picks and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic to the Knicks for Bridges. It's clear that the Knicks are going all in with their Villanova core.
"YO WE F-ING LIT," said Hart via X.

This group of players helped lead the Wildcats to a national title at the collegiate level in 2016. They know how to win and, most importantly, how to play with one another. The Knicks added a rising star with All-Star potential.
During the 2023-24 season, Bridges averaged 19.6 points and 4.5 rebounds.
In his sole season with the Knicks, Bogdanovic averaged 10.4 points and 2 rebounds. The 35-year-old will likely be bought out as Brooklyn looks to rebuild with young pieces.
The addition of Bridges brings verticality to both ends of the floor. He can score at all three levels on the offensive end and defend multiple positions. The small forward is entering his prime years, going into his eighth year in the league.
Bridges spent two years with the Nets after being involved in the Kevin Durant trade that sent him packing from the desert, where he got drafted in 2018.
Hart seems to be ecstatic about the trade, and he certainly should be. The Knicks are building something very special, bringing in a young core of playmakers to help the team hoist up the Larry O'Brien trophy for the first time since 1973.
