A polyp is a small cluster of cells that forms in an organ, such as the intestine, esophagus, stomach and even the bladder. Anyone can develop a polyp and it usually causes no symptoms. Eating less of the following foods may lower your chances of developing polyps: fried foods, sweets, chocolates, sausages, cuts of red meat with a lot of fat, yellow cheeses and frozen ready-to-eat foods such as nuggets, pizzas and lasagnas. Therefore, avoid foods that are high in fat and sugar.
