HOUSTON — Along with family, food and parades, Thanksgiving is also about football and this year, there are a handful of games on this schedule.

When it comes to the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys will host the Washington Commanders at 3:30 p.m. in a game you can watch live on KHOU 11.

The other two games in the NFL are the Green Bay Packers at the Detroit Lions at 11:30 a.m. and the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle at 7:20 p.m.

As for the Texans, they get Thanksgiving off, but this Sunday, they have a big game against Jacksonville for first place in the AFC South. That’s a game you can catch live on KHOU 11 at noon that day.

If college is more your thing, there is one game on the schedule and it’s a big SEC rivalry game. Ole Miss, ranked No. 12 takes on Mississippi State.

Friday is the bigger day for college, though.  There is a whole slate of games the day after Thanksgiving, including TCU vs. Oklahoma at 11 a.m. and Texas Tech taking on Texas at 6:30 p.m.
