HOUSTON — Two firefighters and a civilian were injured in a fire in Clear Lake Friday morning, according to the Houston Fire Department.

This happened around 6:30 a.m. at an apartment complex at the intersection of Pineloch Drive and Galveston Road.

The three injured people were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The American Red Cross was at the scene to help the victims of the fire. It’s unclear how many units were impacted.

Officials asked people to avoid the area because of the large presence of emergency responders.

Arson investigators were also at the scene. HFD said the fire is out, but it’s unclear what caused it.

@HoustonFire is on scene at 696 Pineloch after receiving reports of an apartment on fire. The fire has been extinguished. 2 FF’s and One civilian have been transported to a nearby hospital. Arson and Red Cross on scene. Please avoid the area due to heavy emergency traffic.
