MAGNOLIA, Texas — A man was found dead in a travel trailer that went up in flames in Magnolia on Thanksgiving morning.

The Magnolia Fire Department responded to reports of a car fire on Pecos Ranch Road around 6:30 a.m.

They discovered a travel trailer burning behind a mobile home. Firefighters were able to put the flames out before they spread to the mobile home and that’s when they found the victim’s body.

The Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.

An autopsy will be done to confirm whether the fire caused the death of the unidentified man.
