A man who died before being miraculously revived by doctors is speaking out about his incredible experience in the “afterlife.”
Kevin Hill’s heart stopped beating for several minutes following complications from a heart valve operation last year.
The 55-year-old — who doctors dubbed “The Miracle Man” after he was subsequently resuscitated — told Southwest News Service on Thursday that he went to a “spirit realm” following his death.
“I wasn’t looking down at my body, but I was separate from my body,” the Englishman explained. “It was like I was in the spirit realm. I was conscious of what was going on but I had so much peace.”
“Then I just went to sleep and I woke up, alive and the bleeding had stopped,” he further stated. “I knew it wasn’t my time to die.”
Hill told the publication that he didn’t see a bright light and there was no indication that he was heading to heaven. However, he described the overall experience as “peaceful.”

Hill’s health battle began back in the summer of 2021 when his legs started to swell up due to excess water retention.
Doctors discovered the retention was caused by the fact that Hill’s heart valve had two parts instead of three — a medical issue that required him to undergo serious surgery.
However, Hill’s problems were only just beginning.
After the procedure, the Brit contracted calciphylaxis — a serious, uncommon disease in which calcium accumulates in small blood vessels of the fat and skin tissues.
“I had the disease for months. My skin was eating away at me,” he recalled, saying his legs eventually started to “bleed out.”
“I had three days where my legs were bleeding out — it just wouldn’t stop.”

Hill eventually lost more than two liters of blood, leading to his death for several minutes.
After he was revived, the Brit was left in excruciating pain, saying: “I would cry for hours. My pain level was 100 out of 10.”
The husband eventually went on to make a full recovery and was recently able to return home after almost a year in the hospital.
He told Southwest News Service that his ordeal has left him irrevocably changed.

“The situation has made me refocus my priorities,” he stated. “When I came out of the hospital my family atmosphere changed dramatically.”
