Kyrie Irving's Blunt Quote Following Mavs' Game 1 Win Over Anthony Edwards, Timberwolves
Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals are now in the rearview mirror.
And the Dallas Mavericks secured a narrow 108-107 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Although the Mavericks were losing for much of the game's first three quarters, they stormed ahead in the fourth, and ultimately got themselves a massive win in the NBA Playoffs.
There's no question that Dallas' best player during Wednesday's game was Kyrie Irving.
Irving finished the game with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
While his teammate Luka Doncic ended up with 33 points, Doncic was a -9 while on the court, while Kyrie was +5.

Kyrie known as well as anyone that it takes much more than one win to secure an NBA Playoffs series.
Which is the exact sentiment that he shared after the Mavericks win on Wednesday.
When asked what the win meant to him and his team, Irving replied with, "In about 30 minutes it won't mean anything."
Clearly Kyrie understands that the job is far from over.
