Oilers forward Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was not at the rink on Sunday to skate with his teammates due to feeling under the weather.
Nugent-Hopkins’ lineup spot at practice was filled by teammate Evander Kane.
The 31-year-old from Burnaby, B.C., is tied for fourth in team scoring this post-season, with seven goals and 22 points through 24 playoff games.
Kane has missed the last four straight games due to a sports hernia. The 32-year-old has recorded four goals and eight assists over 20 games this post-season.
The Oilers will face the Panthers in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night in Sunrise, Fla. Catch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ starting at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT.
