Star Slovenia forward Benjamin Sesko is nursing an injury problem ahead of his country’s Euro 2024 clash with England.
The RB Leipzig forward, who had attracted interest from Arsenal and Chelsea before deciding to stay with the German club, was replaced during the closing stages of their draw with Serbia last time out with a quad issue.
Reports from The Athletic, however, suggest the 21-year-old could be in line to feature despite the concern.
Matjaz Kek’s side currently sit third in Group C after drawing both of their opening games and could yet qualify for the knockout stages.
Little about what England have shown in their first two games will look particularly daunting for the Slovenians, albeit they will head into the meeting as underdogs.
Slovenia predicted XI: Oblak; Karnicnik, Drkusis, Bijol, Janza; Stojanovic, Elsnik, Gnezda Cerin, Mlakar; Sporar, Sesko
Time and date: 8pm BST on Tuesday 25 June, 2024
Venue: Cologne Stadium, Cologne
TV channel and live stream: ITV 1, ITVX
