Chelsea are on the verge of signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City after agreeing a deal worth £30million and scheduling a medical.
It is a move which would see the 25-year-old reunited with former manager Enzo Maresca, with Dewsbury-Hall expected to sign a contract until 2030.
The left-footed English midfielder is seen as an ideal addition, with Brighton having also shown an interest in acquiring him in this summer window.
Dewsbury-Hall started 41 of Leicester's 46 games as they won the Championship title under Maresca, whose first official working day with Chelsea is tomorrow on July 1.
It is understood Chelsea academy product Michael Golding is also close joining Leicester, negotiations over that other transaction having been held.
