We had earlier reported about writer-director Mari Selvaraj and actor Dhruv Vikram teaming up for the first time for a film titled Bison Kaalamaadan. Dhruv has now taken to his social media to reveal that team Bison Kaalamaadan has wrapped up the first schedule of production on the film.

A Fiercely Intense First Schedule

Sharing a poster on the occasion, the actor posted on his Instagram with the caption, "Just completed a fiercely intense first schedule of Bison Kaalamaadan. I’m so stoked for you all to see what Mari Selvaraj sir has been cooking. Stay tuned. (sic)"

The film went on floors on the first week of May this year. It reunites producer Pa Ranjith and director Mari Selvaraj for the first time after their collaboration with Pariyerum Perumal in 2018, as the new film is jointly being backed by Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith's Neelam Studios.

More About Bison Kaalamadan

Billed as a sports drama, Bison Kaalamaadan is based on the real-life story of the Arjuna Award-winning Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan. Anupama Parameswaran also plays a significant role in the film. The cast of the film also includes actors Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Madhankumar of Aruvi fame, and Kalaiyarasan.

On the technical front, Bison Kaalamaadan will have music and background score by Nivas K Prasanna, editing handled by by Sakthi Thiru, and cinematography by Ezhil Arasu.
