In a significant update to their pricing strategy, Reliance Jio and Airtel have announced revised tariffs for their prepaid and postpaid plans. Both the telecom companies have revealed that the tariff plans with new prices will become effective from July 3, 2024. This revision includes a notable increase in the prices of various plans while maintaining the same service benefits. Here is the full list of new plans from both Airtel and Jio.

Jio 1-month prepaid plan prices increased

For the one-month plans, the most basic option, previously priced at Rs 155, will now cost Rs 189 and offers unlimited voice calls, 2 GB of data, and SMS benefits for 28 days. The popular Rs 249 plan, up from Rs 209, provides 1 GB of data per day, alongside unlimited calls and SMS for the same duration.

Meanwhile, the Rs 299 plan, which used to be Rs 239, now includes 1.5 GB of data per day, with similar call and SMS benefits. The Rs 349 and Rs 399 plans have also seen price hikes, now costing Rs 349 and Rs 399 respectively, with 2 GB and 2.5 GB of daily data allowances. The Rs 449 plan, previously Rs 399, offers a generous 3 GB of data per day along with the standard unlimited calls and SMS for 28 days.

New 2-month Jio prepaid plans

Jio's two-month plans have also been adjusted. The Rs 579 plan, up from Rs 479, provides 1.5 GB of data daily, and the Rs 629 plan, previously Rs 533, offers 2 GB of daily data, both valid for 56 days.

Long-term prepaid Jio plans with new prices

For customers seeking longer-term options, the three-month plans have been updated significantly. The Rs 479 plan, now up from Rs 395, includes 6 GB of data for 84 days, while the Rs 799 plan, increased from Rs 666, offers 1.5 GB of daily data. The Rs 859 and Rs 1199 plans, previously Rs 719 and Rs 999 respectively, now provide 2 GB and 3 GB of daily data for the same duration, along with unlimited voice calls and SMS benefits.

Annual plans have not been left out of the revisions. The Rs 1899 plan, up from Rs 1559, offers 24 GB of data over 336 days. The premium Rs 3599 plan, which was previously Rs 2999, now provides 2.5 GB of data per day for a full year, along with unlimited calls and SMS.

In addition to these, data add-on packs have seen a price adjustment as well. The Rs 19 plan (previously Rs 15) offers 1 GB of additional data, while the Rs 29 plan (up from Rs 25) provides 2 GB, and the Rs 69 plan (up from Rs 61) includes 6 GB of extra data.

New postpaid Jio plan prices

Postpaid plans have also been revised, with the Rs 349 plan now costing Rs 349 up from Rs 299, and offering 30 GB of data per billing cycle. The Rs 449 plan, previously Rs 399, now includes 75 GB of data per billing cycle.

Notably, all plans that provide 2GB of data per day or more will include unlimited 5G data, enhancing the overall value for high-data users. These new pricing structures and benefits will be available through all existing Jio touchpoints and channels from the stated effective date.

The Rs 299 plan, formerly priced at Rs 265, includes 1GB of data per day with the same calling and SMS benefits over 28 days. Moving up, the Rs 349 plan, up from Rs 299, provides 1.5GB of daily data. The Rs 409 plan, which previously cost Rs 359, now includes 2.5GB of data per day, and the Rs 449 plan, up from Rs 399, offers 3GB of data per day, both for a 28-day period.

For those looking for longer-term options, the Rs 579 plan, increased from Rs 479, provides 1.5GB of daily data for 56 days. The Rs 649 plan, which was Rs 549, offers 2GB of data per day for the same duration. For a three-month period, the Rs 509 plan, now priced at Rs 509 from Rs 455, includes 6GB of total data, while the Rs 859 plan, previously Rs 719, and the Rs 979 plan, up from Rs 839, provide 1.5GB and 2GB of daily data, respectively, for 84 days.

Annual prepaid options have also seen adjustments. The Rs 1999 plan, up from Rs 1799, offers 24GB of data, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for an entire year. The Rs 3599 plan, previously Rs 2999, now includes 2GB of daily data for 365 days, with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day.

New Airtel Data Add-On plans

For additional data needs, Airtel has revised its data add-on packs. The Rs 22 plan, up from Rs 19, provides 1GB of extra data for one day. The Rs 33 plan, previously Rs 29, offers 2GB of additional data for one day, and the Rs 77 plan, which was Rs 65, includes 4GB of extra data for the duration of the base plan.

New 2024 Airtel Postpaid plans

Postpaid users also face new pricing. The Rs 449 plan offers 40GB of data with rollover, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and an Xstream Premium subscription. The Rs 549 plan, which includes 75GB of rollover data, adds subscriptions to Xstream Premium, Disney+ Hotstar for 12 months, and Amazon Prime for 6 months.

For families, the Rs 699 plan provides 105GB of data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Xstream Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, and Amazon Prime for two connections, along with Wynk Premium. The Rs 999 plan caters to larger families with 190GB of data, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and the same streaming subscriptions for up to four connections.
