What PS Teresia Mbaika told protesting youths
Generation Z (Gen Z) have been staging demonstrations calling for the total rejection of the contentious finance bill.
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Mbaika condemned anti-finance bill protesters' bringing of county government offices and properties.
The Devolution PS termed the destruction of properties in counties as a major threat to devolution.
Mbaika urged youths to desist from such outrageous acts, adding that such destructions erode the gains in advancing devolution.
"The recent trend of burning County Government offices and property is a big threat to Devolution. I urge the youth to desist from such heinous act, as it waters down the gains we have made in strengthening Devolution," PS Mbaika said.
As reported earlier, the anti-finance demonstrations left a trail of destruction in many countries.
