Philadelphia 76ers Agree Deals with Three Players After Draft

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Duke University's Jared McCain with the No. 16 pick while getting UCLA center Adem Bona 41st overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. Following the conclusion of the event, they added a trio of undrafted players to their ranks.
According to Keith Pompey, David Jones from the University of Memphis has agreed to sign a two-way with the 76ers.
Jones is a prolific scoring wing and had a highly productive year. He was the Tigers' leading scorer and rebounder last season. He averaged 21.8 points per game and made 79 3-pointers. Overall, he shot 45.9% from the field.
He also was the first Division I player since Zion Williamson to average at least 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
Jones was given an invite to the NBA Draft combine but ended up having a disappointing time there. Still, the upside is clearly there and let's see how things play out for him with the 76ers.
On the other hand, according to Jon Chepkevich, Rice’s Max Fiedler has agreed to an Exhibit-10 deal with the 76ers.
The 6’11 ¼" big man boasts a unique statistical profile at his size, averaging 5+ AST per game the past two seasons.
And according to Shams Charania, Kentucky's Justin Edwards has agreed to a two-way NBA deal with the 76ers.
This might be the most interesting move out of the three. The Philadelphia native was once considered the potential No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA draft. But he went undrafted after experiencing an up-and-down season in Lexington.
Edwards averaged 8.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 21.5 minutes of action per game last season.
