Crowds at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage appear unusually thin ahead of SZA’s headline set.
The R&B singer, 34, will close the festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset on Sunday night (30 June) following headline sets from Dua Lipa and Coldplay on Friday and Saturday.
SZA’s first Glastonbury set clashes with other big artists on the line up, including Justice on the West Holts stage, James Blake on Woodsies, London Grammar on Park Stage and The National on Other Stage.
The Independent’s Louis Chilton has reported a “surprising number of people” are leaving the Wrothy farm festival site ahead of SZA’s performance.
“Have you seen the crowd at the Pyramid Stage?” one viewer at home questioned on X/Twitter after seeing the depleted number of people at Glastonbury’s main stage.
