Queen Latifah Owns the Stage in Black Reptilian Boots at BET Experience 2024 in Los Angeles
Queen Latifah took the stage at the BET Experience 2024 held in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Latifah was joined on stage by other talents including Monie Love, The Roots and Common. This section of the festival was titled "Roots Picnic: Hip-Hop is The Love of My Life" and was meant to spotlight rap, hip-hop and R&B artists of all kinds.

The "Last Holiday" actress stepped on stage in a pair of black ankle-length boots. The boot silhouette was chunky and featured glossy leather uppers with a textural reptilian appearance. Additionally, the style was fitted with thick non-slip tread, offering the performer a cushy feel.
Latifah's recent footwear choices have been tomboyish in nature, including colorful sneakers and grungy boots. These picks have coincided with her street-style aesthetic, drawing inspiration from hip-hop with colorful graphic hues and oversized silhouettes.

Accompanying her chunky footwear, the "Set It Off" star wore a matching gray set. The two-piece featured a baggy parachute-esque hoodie and matching pleated high-waisted shorts that were belted. On the accessories front, Latifah donned a matching gray baseball cap accompanied by large silver hoops and a few rings.
Over the years, Latifah has become known for wearing sleek shoes on the red carpet, ranging from wedges to peep-toe and platform pumps from top brands like Gucci. Strappy stiletto sandals are one of her go-to styles as well, hailing from top brands including Jimmy Choo. The BET Experience 2024 is a multi-day festival taking place from June 26 to June 30. This year's festival will feature performances by The Roots, Common, Black Sheep, Cardi B, Gunna and Sexyy Red, along with live comedy routines from talents like Tiffany Haddish, Chris Spencer and Michael Blackson.
