'Kalki AD 2898' makers unveil new poster revealing Dulquer Salmaan's role in the film

'Kalki AD 2898' makers took to social media, just hours before the film to share a new poster as they officially introduced Dulquer Salmaan as part of the film's cast. The film producer took to social media to share the character poster of Dulquer Salmaan and captioned it, "Revealing the first look of our own Dulquer garu from Kalki AD 2898."

Dulquer Salmaan is said to appear in a cameo role in the film as he is reportedly said to play Prabhas' father in the film. The makers also recently confirmed that apart from Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Devarakonda will also be seen playing a cameo role in the film.

'Kalki AD 2898' has been released in theatres today, June 27 and the film after the first show has been receiving positive reviews from fans. The movie is expected to gross Rs 200 crore worldwide on day 1. Directed by Nag Aswin, the film is a mythological science fiction and the cast includes Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in lead roles and the music for it is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
