Mysterious monolith discovered in northern Colorado
Another mysterious monolith has appeared - seemingly out of nowhere - in the US. Locals discovered the unusual structure in northern Colorado.
The monolith in Colorado is the latest of several that have sprung up around the world recently. The structures which mimic features from Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey,” have spurred multiple online theories.
Some believe the structures were purposefully built to spark controversy, while others firmly believe that they erupted out of nowhere, and may be a symbol of extraterrestrial activity.
Earlier this month, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that another shiny, reflective structure was spotted in the desert. Back in March, another was discovered on a remote hill in Wales. There is no clear link between the instances but how they got there was never confirmed by authorities before they were removed.

Local cafe owner, Lori Graves, told KDVR that people were inquiring about the monolith since it first appeared. “Where is the monolith? Where is the Alien monolith?” she recalled them saying.
