Pac-12 Website Alteration Saddens College Football Fans

The Pac-12 Conference, once considered among the powerhouse leagues in college football, finds itself with just two teams heading into the 2024 season.

With ten member schools electing to dart for other conferences in the past year, the Pac-12's foreseeable future will be represented by two programs - Washington State and Oregon State.

It's been an unmistakably brutal year for the once-nicknamed "Conference of Champions," and it seems the league is continuing the process of moving forward. On Saturday, college football fans discovered that the Pac-12 officially removed all former schools from its website.

"The Pac-12 has officially removed all former schools from its website," Front Office Sports posted.

Utilizing an internet archiving tool called the Wayback Machine, it looks as though the Pac-12 made the change to its website recently.

All former schools were still shown on the site homepage as of June 27.

College football fans appear to feel the same way about the major Pac-12 website alteration.

"Sad," Alex writes.

"This is depressing," Chels said.

Former Pac-12 schools Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA will play in the Big Ten starting in 2024.

Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah have elected to join the Big 12, while Cal and Stanford head to the ACC.
