Brighton have reignited their interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to a report.
The Seagulls are in the market for a new midfielder due to the seemingly impending departure of Pascal Groß. The German midfielder, currently back in his home country for Euro 2024, is being heavily courted by Champions League finalists
Borussia Dortmund
.
Recent reports in Germany have suggested that the Black and Yellow's courtship has been successful, with Groß said to be keen to test himself in the Bundesliga again at the advanced age of 33.

Groß previously featured 70 times in Germany's top flight before jetting off for England and becoming a club legend at
Brighton
, making north of 260 appearances for the Seagulls.
The Premier League side don't want to sell Groß and his compatriot and new coach Fabian Hürzeler has been trying to convince him to stay, but it increasingly looks as though Dortmund will win out,
having also just managed to persuade
in-demand striker Serhou Guirassy to join.
Brighton back in for Dewsbury-Hall
This has now led to Brighton reigniting their interest in Kieran Dewsbury-Hall after having failed with an attempt to sign him from
Leicester
in January. The Foxes homegrown is also on the radar of
Man Utd
after a stunningly productive season in the Championship, notching 12 goals and 14 assists.
Leicester are believed to be
under pressure to sell this summer
and the 25-year-old midfielder, despite insisting that he is going nowhere, is one of the most likely candidates to be sold.

According to

, Brighton are now firmly back in the race to sign him. Dewsbury-Hall is expected to fetch north of €30 million, but Leicester are thought to no longer be in a position to demand in excess of €50m like they did in the winter.
