Croatian model, Ivana Knoll, who was dubbed the World Cup's 'sexiest fan' in Qatar, has expressed her disappointment on Instagram after Croatia's hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages of Euro 2024 were left hanging by a thread.

Her side were held to an agonising draw by Italy on Monday night, after Mattia Zaccagni's equaliser in the eighth minute of injury time cancelled out Luka Modric's second-half strike that put Croatia ahead.

Had Croatia managed to hold on, they would have finished above Italy in Group B and booked their spot in the knockout stages.

With Croatia having only amassed two points and a goal difference of minus-three, it appears they may just miss out on a berth in the last 16 as one of the best third-placed teams.

At present, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia all look set to advance - but Croatia can still qualify if England beat Slovenia by four or more goals on Tuesday night.

But after the match she reacted to the crushing draw against Italy by posting a video of the players on the field with a vomiting and poop emoji

Knoll was left disappointed by the result, posting a story on Instagram of the scenes inside the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig at full time, adding a vomiting face emoji and a poop emoji to the story.

The 31-year-old model, who initially gained fame and social media followers for attending Croatia matches at the 2022 World Cup in skimpy outfits, has been present in Germany following her side throughout the group stages.

Knoll had arrived early inside the stadium in Leipzig, appearing to be filmed as part of a television programme in the stands.

She posted several clips of herself on her Instagram story wearing a red-and-white chequered top, while posing for a camera before later posting a preview of the clip on her Instagram story.

The Croatian has three million followers on Instagram and also operates a swimsuit brand and is a DJ.

She was seen lapping up the atmosphere inside the Red Bull arena alongside other Croatian fans, with supporters singing and waving pyrotechnic flares in the air.

She had also posted a video online ahead of the game, enjoying the atmosphere on the streets of Leipzig with hundreds of other Croatian fans.

In the clip, Knoll was seen dancing alongside a group of musicians who were dressed in Croatian football shirts while playing guitars.

Knoll had previously been involved in a bizzare argument with German TV host Laura Wontorra and had also taken a swipe at MagentaTV

Knoll recently hit out at German television host Laura Wontorra and broadcasting company MagentaTV after Croatia's 3-0 defeat by Spain in Berlin, after she had appeared in an interview with the television company.

It appeared some claims had been made about Knoll's choice of clothing, with the Croatian having complained that it was cold during the interview while she was wearing a bikini top.

In a bizarre tirade, Knoll published several messages on Instagram lashing out at Wontorra and Magenta TV, writing: 'Dear Laura, if I looked like that, I would only wear winter clothes forever.'

'The most unprofessional television ever. Teach your presenters the culture and never invite me for an interview again,' she said, signing off the message with a thumbs-down emoji.

Knoll had also revealed earlier this June that she was single again having split from her boyfriend of 10 years.

She told BILD: 'I had a boyfriend who I was with for 10 years. We broke up last year. Now I'm single, but I'm not looking for a new man at the moment.'

Knoll had also stated that she was sad to see Jack Grealish be omitted from Gareth Southgate's England squad for the tournament in Germany.

'I'm sad England doesn't have the best team selected but as a Croatia fan I'm happy.' Knoll told The Sun. 'With [Kylian] Mbappe not playing and all these other big players not playing then we have a bigger chance.'
