(ANSA) – UDINE, 31 GEN – Svelato il giallo delle pagine pubblicitarie anonime che campeggiavano ieri su alcuni quotidiani nazionali e locali e in cui si dava genericamente voce al popolo friulano ribadendo che “il razzismo non ci appartiene”.

Ad acquistarle è stato direttamente ‘paron’ Gianpaolo Pozzo, che lo ha rivelato al quotidiano friulano Messaggero Veneto. Ieri la società aveva sostenuto di non essere coinvolta nella vicenda. Di fronte alla crescente insistenza dei tifosi, il proprietario ha invece ammesso di avere pagato personalmente la campagna pubblicitaria.

“Il nostro territorio – ha spiegato al quotidiano oggi in edicola – è vittima di un’ingiustizia. Il nostro pubblico si è sempre distinto per il comportamento corretto, non a caso abbiamo ricevuto due coppe disciplina mentre dopo quanto accaduto nella partita con il Milan c’è stata quasi una persecuzione mediatica che reputo sicuramente sproporzionata rispetto ai fatti che hanno coinvolto solo 5 persone su 25 mila che tra l’altro non si sono accorte di nulla”. “Per questo motivo – ha concluso – abbiamo deciso di lanciare un messaggio chiaro contro il razzismo ma non volevamo che a parlare fosse solo l’Udinese e quindi abbiamo deciso di promuovere una campagna anonima, in modo che tutti i friulani potessero identificarsi”.
