Nebraska Football: Huskers Get Transfer Commitment from ACC Wide Receiver
Well does he play o-line? In this case, no he does not. But he did catch a lot of passes for touchdowns for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
On Thursday morning it was Jahmal Banks who announced that he plans on transferring from Wake Forest to Nebraska. He is taking his talents to Lincoln.
In this case Nebraska will be getting a tall big bodied receiver which is something that the wide receiver room needs. Before this commitment the room had tons of speed but not a lot of size.
Banks was also extremely productive at Wake Forest. During his sophomore year (2022) he had 42 receptions for 636 yards and nine touchdowns. He had the highest contested rate completion percentage (58.6%) in the entire ACC conference.
He was Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2022. His 2023 season was about the same in terms of production as he had 59 receptions for 653 yards and four touchdowns.
