The Girls Aloud singer, 42, who recalled the worrying ordeal on Instagram, took Nate to A&E to get him checked over following the incident.

After the nurses gave Nate the all clear, Kimberley took Nate back into hospital after an ‘unsettled night’ and felt she knew something wasn’t right.

As she rushed Nate back a second time, it was discovered he had injured his elbow badly – to which she shared she was so glad she trusted her instinct.

Alongside a slew of snaps from their trip to the hospital, she wrote: ‘Not exactly how I hoped half term would go. My little climbing monkey fell off the chair and landed funny on his arm.

‘I knew something wasn’t right so we went to A & E to get him checked over. The nurse thought he was fine so sent us home but he really wasn’t happy.

‘After a very unsettled night and him really not wanting to use his arm at all we took him back the next day and asked for an X-ray. Turned out he had dislocated his elbow.

‘Poor little thing was so brave it kills me. Moral of the story is trust your instincts. I knew something was wrong thank god we went back.

‘He’s back to his normal self again but unfortunately the climbing hasn’t stopped.’

Kimberley shares three sons Bobby, 6, Cole, 4, and Nate with with Justin Scott, 39, a British singer and ex-member of boyband Triple 8.

‘Since the news of Girls Aloud’s reunion their management have been bombarded with offers for all sorts of things, particularly loads of TV and streaming specials,’ a source told The Sun.

‘Girls Aloud regularly filmed and released their tours on DVD back in the day but things have moved on, so they have been interested to hear what other options are on the table.

‘The demand for tickets has been so phenomenal that it has sparked a bidding war between companies who are keen to land the rights to their show, they are very careful about what they do, though, because they don’t want to exploit their legacy or do anything that cheapens their brand.’

The insider added it is important all band members are in ‘complete agreement’ when it comes to accepting any offer on the table.

MailOnline contacted Girls Aloud for comment.
