Josh Hart Hilariously Hates On Knicks Big Man After Free Agency Exit
The New York Knicks have been busy this offseason. Before the NBA Draft, they acquired Mikal Bridges in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets.
But, when free agency began, they saw Isaiah Hartenstein sign a massive three-year, $87 million deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Teammate Josh Hart had bittersweet feelings and had a hilarious response when the news came out as he posted a message on X:
"You are dead to me Zay. I never liked you anyways. But congrats on the bag!"
Hartenstein spent the past two seasons with the Knicks after spending time with each of the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Clippers since being selected in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft.
But, he had his best seasons as a member of the Knicks. He played in all 82 games in 2022-2023 and then 75 games this past season, averaging 7.8 PPG (career high) with 8.3 rebounds (career high) and providing plenty of quality minutes off the bench.

Hart is always active on social media, so it's no surprise he took to X to express his feelings. But, Isaiah Hartenstein will be missed in the Knicks organization after a stellar two seasons.
Nonetheless, it sure seems that Josh Hart was joking about Hartenstein's exit.
