Chicken Treat: Takeaway lovers in for a treat with new fast-food restaurant open in Dalyellup

Fried chicken and rotisserie chook fans in the South West now have another takeaway food option, with Chicken Treat opening its eighth store in the region.

The beloved West Australian restaurant brand has a new store in Dalyellup, offering “unapologetically indulgent” meals and snacks to locals.

The chain already has restaurants in Australind, Collie, Manjimup, Eaton, Bunbury Blair, Margaret River, and Vasse.

However, the demand for a store in Dalyellup was heard loud and clear, according to Chicken Treat chief executive Mimma Battista.

“Chicken Treat has a huge following in the South West community which we have been serving for over 40 years,” she said.

“As the City of Bunbury expands, we’re ensuring that we continue to provide a lip-smacking food destination in regional areas that want more options.

“Dalyellup is our latest store in the local region and is the fifth store to be operated by Glen Clayton. We’re incredibly proud to support careers like Glen’s and offer up more local jobs in the Bunbury region.

“An additional 25 positions have been created as part of the Dalyellup store’s opening.”

To celebrate the store’s official grand opening on July 4, the team will serve free Tempta Burgers from 3-6pm.

“We can’t wait to surprise and delight our customers, helping to rescue hungry Dalyellup locals with a smack of deliciousness,” Ms Battista said.

“If you’re a loyal customer or are giving Chicken Treat a try for the first time, we can’t wait to see you at our new Dalyellup store.”

Founded in 1976, Chicken Treat is a household name in WA, known for both rotisserie and fried chicken, as well as burgers, well-renowned chips and unique combinations.

“Chicken Treat doesn’t take itself too seriously,” Ms Battista said.

“We have fun with food and are constantly delighting our customers with new menu items while staying true to what we know people love.”

The new Chicken Treat store is at 51 Tiffany Centre, Dalyellup.
