Madubuike applauds Abia Warriors players after draw against Doma United

Abia Warriors assistant coach, Igwe Madubuike has commended his players for the away draw against Doma United.

The Umuahia-based club held Doma United to a 1-1 draw at the Pantami Stadium on Sunday.

Abia Warriors took the lead through Meme Okike in the first half, while Emmanuel Jesam equalised for the home team after the break.

Maduuike said his players executed their plans in the game

“As I rightly said that the game isn’t going to be a mere formality which proved to be a tough battle,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“I applaud my players for playing to instruction and picking a point in the game.”

Abia Warriors finished the season in 12th position with 52 points.
