Twinkle Khanna Catches Up With Barsaat Co-star Bobby Deol: 'Thrilled To See Him Doing So Well'

Bobby Deol and Twinkle Khanna began their Bollywood journey together in the 1995 film Barsaat. Twinkle recently shared a new photo of them from a recent meeting on Saturday. She also posted two pictures from their debut film and expressed her joy about Bobby’s recent success in films like the 2023 blockbuster Animal. Twinkle held Bobby in their new photo, while in the throwback pictures, they were seen together in scenes from Barsaat, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.

Her caption read, “Kal and Aaj Kal… it’s not just Pinky Masi who is a @iambobbydeol fan, I am as thrilled to see him doing so well. Bobby Deol received immense praise for his phenomenal performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s movie Animal. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Animal has created history at the box office by becoming the biggest opener for a non-holiday release for a Hindi film. Animal had grossed Rs 116 crore at the worldwide box office on its opening day.

Twinkle quit acting to become a bestselling author. Her husband, actor Akshay Kumar, has starred with Bobby in several movies like Ajnabee, Thank You, and Housefull 4. They are good friends and are often seen together.

Reportedly, Bobby will star in multiple projects, including Alia Bhatt’s spy film, where he is set to play a villain alongside Alia and Sharvari. Directed by YRF’s Shiv Rawail, the film features Alia as a female agent. That apart, Bobby will be seen facing off against Suriya in the film Kanguva. Recently, both actors attended a Prime Video event in Mumbai and praised each other warmly.
