Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6 could be more expensive than last year's models
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 will unveil several upcoming devices, including Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The company has recently announced that the event will take place in Paris this year and will focus on Galaxy AI. Ahead of the event, the pricing of these devices has been leaked on social media platforms. As per the leaks, the tipped pricing indicates a considerable jump as compared to the previous flagship.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6 price leaked
A recent SmartPrix report, in collaboration with tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, has spilled details around the pricing of Samsung Galaxy Z foldables. According to the leak, the price of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will go up to EUR 2,580 (Rs 2,30,000) for the most premium variant, 12GB RAM and 1TB storage. The device is expected to be available in three variants. The 12GB+256GB is rumoured to cost EUR 2,200 (around Rs 1,96,000) and the 12GB+512GB at EUR 2,330 (around Rs 2,06,000).
If the leak holds to be true, then the upcoming Galaxy Fold 6 will record a jump of EUR 300 (roughly Rs 26,000). Compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which was priced at EUR 1899, EUR 2039, and EUR 2279, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also rumoured to witness a massive increase in pricing. According to the tip, the upcoming clamshell smartphone will be available in two variants: 12GB+256GB at EUR 1,330 (roughly Rs 1,18,000) and 12GB+512GB at EUR 1,450 (roughly Rs 1,30,000). This spells a bump of EUR 130 (roughly Rs 11,000) in the price of the smartphone for the base model.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6: Indian pricing (Expected)
The pricing of the upcoming devices has been leaked for the European market, but what does it mean for India? The Indian pricing can differ. If the tipped pricing in Europe turns out to be true, then the base model (12GB+256GB) of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 could cost in India at Rs 1,82,000. If Samsung continues to follow the trend of Galaxy Z Fold 5 launch price, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 12GB+512GB variant could be priced at Rs 1,99,000 in India.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 pricing can also differ. The launch price of Galaxy Z Flip 5 in India was Rs 99,999 for the base model. If Samsung continues to follow the tradition, then the upcoming clamshell, Galaxy Z Flip 6 12GB+256GB variant might cost around Rs 1,09,000.

The event is taking place on July 10, 2024. Paris is the host country for the event this year. Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will also be livestreamed on several online platforms.
